Health Benefits of Mint (Pudina)
Mint or pudina is a very common herb that is known to people since years. It is so common that a lot of us plant it in our backyard so that we can get fresh access to it. We use it in teas, chutneys, gravies and a lot of other preparations. We even use it after a meal or a smoke as a breathe freshener. But little do we know that this so called common herb has some uncommon benefits.

Talk about vegan treats! Only I would not eat these for breakfast. Have mercy, lets get the fruit out, the granola, the smoothies and oatmeal. Save the cupcake for mid day snack if our personal diet allows it. This recipe sounds so wonderful, I thought I should post it though, and let you tell me if its thumbs up or not. Who’s trying it first? (BTW) If you can cut down on the sugar in the recipe by at least 25%, you will be doing yourself a favor. Otherwise, have fun!!!!!

It’s been said that healthy people are sexier. Considering how healthy, slim, and attractive many vegans and vegetarians are, this might just be true. But, it’s not enough to just go vegan in order to be healthy, fit, and slim. You can’t just eat a bunch of carrots and apples and sit on the couch and expect to feel good, look good, and be healthy. It takes effort, consistency, and willpower to be healthy and well. To get on the journey to vibrant good health and an improved attractive appearance, there are a few simple things you will need to do. One of the most important is to study and learn about healthy vegan eating. Sometimes we have to relearn or adjust how we cook and select new nutritious foods. There are many helpful and great websites, books, magazines and youtube videos that will help us and provide us with support and resources.
Soapwort is generally considered an alternative to commercial soaps and cleansers. Soapwort is a herb that is often used like soaps, however it is actually gentler on sensitive skin types and does not dry out skin like some soaps do. Soapwort is also all natural. It features no harsh chemicals, additives, or preservatives, therefore it’s safer. Soapwort contains a natural ingredient called saponins which is what gives soapwort the sudsy cleansing action.

Garlic is one of Mother Nature’s most powerful healing herbs. It is a very wise idea to have a bounty of garlic on hand for any given situation– any illness or health challenge. Many health experts agree that garlic is multi-purpose and provides many healing medicinal benefits, a great plant-based vegan skin choice. Fresh raw garlic is a natural antibiotic and anti-microbial. Eaten and juiced raw, it’s powerful benefits are boundless.
This may sound just like what your mom would to say, but scratching, constant touching or playing with your face is a no-no. Try to pay attention to just how often you touch your face during the day (with dirty hands). Watch for acne or other skin problems in areas that you touch often. Watch your behavior, then if necessary, change your habits and check out the results. This may seem painfully obvious, but this one BIG tip may make a lot of difference in your future.
My husband and I met in college. What I first noticed about him wasn’t the glasses, the athletic body or the moped he drove around campus. It was his tired skin.
With 22 academic units that quarter, holding a job and volunteering, he was stretched, to say the least. The dark circles under the eyes, the dull, dry skin were all tell-tale signs that he needed some help. I offered to be a study buddy and co-volunteer. We became friends. Then on day, out of the blue, I gave him a bottle of face lotion as a gift. Needless to say, he looked at me puzzled. I asked him to put some on after he showered: just a few drops, concentrating on areas around the eyes, cheeks and jaw line. He tried it. He really liked it!
