The Real Truth about Aloe Vera Skin Care
Funny how the name aloe vera actually is derived from the word Alloeh, which means “bitter” in Arabic. Well, yep, it is bitter to the taste, but this member of the lily family has a wide range of skin care benefits, and that would explain why you see Aloe Vera skin care products included in those products which claim to be natural/organic/vegan products, as well as other not so natural products. This natural remedy is good for dry skin, eczema, minor cuts/burn, and more. However, it’s important to keep in mind that most products add more than just Aloe Vera in their skin care lines, so sometimes it is best to go with pure Aloe Vera skin care. Lets find out how we can do that.
Grow yourself a Aloe Vera plant. Do a little research about how to maintain it in your climate. You can also purchase a potted AV plant to keep in your home. Either way, you want to make sure that you water it regularly and keep it in sunlight to thrive. You can just cut a little piece of this and apply to your skin when necessary (like when skin is dry or you’ve got a bad cut). If you use it like this, remember to cut a fresh piece every time you use it. Oh Yeah, remember to thank your plant for its kindness, it’s the right thing to do (smile).
Or, you can also search for skin care recipes that contain pure Aloe Vera and try to make these at home.
If you are not into keeping greenery or plants around the house, if you not into making your own natural beauty products, you can also purchase pure Aloe Vera skin care products to keep around the house.
