Pregnancy can be an exciting time for most new mothers as they plan for the arrival of a new baby. While these changes are both enjoyable and stressful, it’s important to keep your skin healthy looking during these nine months. Its no secret that your hormones may will put your life out of balance, so you most likely will experience various changes throughout this period. Some women get oilier skin during their pregnancy, so you might want to switch up your skin care routine to natural and healthy skin care products that cater to your new changes, should you experience any of them. Try switching to pure olive oil as a daily face wash. Olive oil works well as a natural face wash by attracting other oils and removing them, plus it moisturizes your skin.
Sometmes pregnant women get unsightly stretch marks across their stomachs or torso. Luckily cocoa butter can help make these stretch marks virtually vanish. And last, but certainly not least, many women have to deal with melasma- a condition that causes dark splotches to appear on their skin due to the high levels of melanin produced by hormones.
