Oatmeal Promise Vegan Soap Review
Oatmeal, it’s not just for breakfast. Oatmeal Promise became part of my morning and evening beauty routine the last 2 days.
Upon receiving my foreue Oatmeal Promise (OP) vegan soap, I immediately smelled it. To me, a scent will either “put me off” or “put me on” toward the product. It smelled light and woody~very subtle. It’s a good start! Next, I looked at the color and felt the texture of the bar. Perhaps I’m more tactile than most people. I like holding my soap and feeling the bumps, lumps and smoothness. The bar wasn’t overly hard because it yielded to gentle pressure.
Now, for the lather. As I have found with most handmade vegan soap products, the lather is less. I admit I am accustomed to enorous amounts of bubbles; but this didn’t bother me much. The winning attribute is the way it made my skin feel during and after washing. I usually use a soft facial brush when I wash. The brush helped “generate” more bubbles. The OP felt good against my skin. I know the ingredients are pure and natural–but to feel it, or in this case, not feel the harshness, tightness, dryness–made all the difference. After rinsing and patting dry, my skin felt moisturized, exfoliated and refreshed. Now that’s the feeling of clean!

I have used Oatmeal Promise on a daliy basis for about a year now. It always a refreshing experience,I would recommend Oatmeal Promise to any active man who is seeking to refresh his skin and complexion.
