You take care of your hair by using hair products, your face by using natural skin products, and your body by using natural body lotion, but what about your feet? Because of shoes, we often neglect the care of our feet, and that can lead to foot issues such as dry, cracked heels. One way to solve this is by wearing shoes less often, which are often suffocated in your shoes and socks all day long. And while your at it, take a day off to pamper your feet naturally. Here is a few tips to help smooth your feet.

Soak your feet in a small tub of warm(not to terribly hot, though). Use a pumice stone and exfoliate your feet. Scrub a bit hard to remove the dead skin from your feet.

Moisturize. Regular lotion won’t do. Use a natural moisturizer or lotion that was specifically made for your feet, just like you use natural body lotion or natural skin products. Try to do this at least twice day. Another moisturizing tip is to smooth on the natural lotion on your feet and wear socks over them overnight to retain the moisture. You can also use coconut oil. Heat up some coconut oil and wax, cool it off, and then apply the mixture to your feet.

And last, but not least, remember to use cold or lukewarm water, never hot. This advice also applies when using natural body lotion or natural skin products.  Hot water often removes the natural moisture in your skin. This is the best way to prevent dry skin issues from head to toe.
