3. The Campaign for Safe Cosmetics
Their website has a “Take Action” link to a petition asking Congress to help regulate the toxins in the cosmetic industry. Good place to check if your favorite natural skin care product company has signed the “Compact for Safe Cosmetics” contract. www.safecosmetics.org
Our choices do matter. Arming ourselves with knowledge to make educated, conscious and powerful decisions is only the first step. Albeit, a VERY important one. Ultimately, if we want to change the (cosmetics) world, as Mahatma Gandhi has said, “be the change you want to see.”
