Homemade Dry Skin Care Treatments
Often times, the relief for dry skin and dry skin care is as close as our kitchen cabinets. These tried and true dry skin treatments will have you glowing and softened in a hurry.
- Olive Oil ~ a staple of Mediterranean cooking is also your best friend for chapped elbows, heels, knees and cuticles. Rub a generous amount on your skin, wait 20 minutes and shower off with tepid, NOT hot, water. For a good exfoliation, mix 2 parts brown sugar to 1 part olive oil. Mix well and rub in a circular motion. Rinse in tepid water.
