However, when the weather turns cold, I start to feel much better and healthier. I make a strong effort to keep my lifestyle as vata balanced as possible and this includes what I eat and drink and use as personal care products on my skin and in my hair.

As long as I could remember, I have experimented with different forms of patchouli: incense, natural essential oils, fragrances, soaps, etc. Unfortunately, none to my liking. Perhaps the reason why is that patchouli is one of those scents that either works with your body chemistry and you either love it or hate it.
