I just opened the container of the Foreue product, Jasmine Butter Creme, and while reading the ingredients on the Foreue website, I enjoyed the pleasant aroma. I put a drop of the Jasmine Butter Creme on my foot and I like the way it feels on my skin. It’s pleasant and soft and moisturizing, like the Hydrate product. It’s nice and moist; not oily.
Oatmeal, it’s not just for breakfast. Oatmeal Promise became part of my morning and evening beauty routine the last 2 days.
Upon receiving my foreue Oatmeal Promise (OP) vegan soap, I immediately smelled it. To me, a scent will either “put me off” or “put me on” toward the product. It smelled light and woody~very subtle. It’s a good start! Next, I looked at the color and felt the texture of the bar. Perhaps I’m more tactile than most people. I like holding my soap and feeling the bumps, lumps and smoothness. The bar wasn’t overly hard because it yielded to gentle pressure.

As I have said before, many products that claim to be natural, like natural skin lotion, are really not. Sure they may contain emollients, emulsifiers, and humectants, which can be derived from natural sources, but sometimes they are chemically made(read: not from natural sources). How do you know the difference? Do your research and read the labels. Here is some information to help you.
Emollients are often found in lotion in skin care products, like natural skin lotion. The difference is that natural emollients are biodegradable and synthetic emollients are not. Natural emollients are found in plant oils (such as avocado or rosehip oils), shea butter, or cocoa butter.
Many women and men endure skincare challenges. My husband is a good example of what many can experience when they transition from a strategically annihilating diet (S.A.D.) and unhealthy toxic lifestyle to one that is healthy and organic.
He was raised on a S.A.D. Diet and used mainstream toxic chemically laden personal care products from early childhood until early adulthood. He often felt bad physically and his skin was very vulnerable to acne breakouts and skin blemishes. He had a very rough time and he didn’t know what to use. He was often so desperate for a solution, that he’d resort to using a popular mainstream product, laden with toxic chemicals and advertised as being effective and healthy, and one of the professional skin care products.
There are some very simple, easy ways to keep your skin beautiful, healthy, and young. It’s been said that “you are what you eat” and it’s true. Eating healthy, organic, whole, plant-based foods and using only organic skincare products will go a long way to keeping you feeling good, and looking vibrant.
A healthy, green, organic diet and lifestyle will contribute. Using natural organic skincare products and haircare products that contain plant essences is very helpful. Wrinkles, spots, blemishes, and discoloration may be caused by an unhealthy lifestyle, stress, erratic weather, and excessive sun exposure.
So you want to start making your own vegan homemade skin care products, how do you start? Its not really that hard, just simply do your research on not only actual recipes, but the benefits of certain natural or organic plants. You cannot just take a salad and throw it in the blender and expect to make, let’s say, an exfoiliant scrub. Here are some tips and ideas to get you started in your kitchen beauty lab with homemade skin care products.
There are many facets to being a responsible Earth Steward. An Earth Steward is someone who demonstrates complete integrity and mutual respect; self-respect and respect for all beings and creatures of Mother Earth.
Ahimsa, which in ancient Hindu Sanskrit, means “reverence for life,” is an important integral facet of being an Earth Steward; in other words, ahimsa emphasizes compassion. As a responsible Earth Steward, Ahimsa should be extended to include all beings; two-legged, four-legged, winged, and finned.
Its no secret that you should use natural beauty cosmetics and handmade skin care products simply because they are healthier for both you and the environment. And despite the fact cosmetic companies and FDA claims that these mainstream products are completely safe to use, many scientists have discovered that these products do contain harmful chemicals, and that over time, the use of such products could harm us. So it comes as no surprise that many companies try to create all natural cosmetics, some are truly natural beauty cosmetics, but others are not. So here is a list of ten chemicals to avoid, when out shopping for all natural cosmetics-
An endless selection of personal care and cosmetics on the store shelf can be very confusing. One common confusion is understanding the difference between organic and natural and vegan.
Organic is a wonderful way of living your life in the most natural manner possible, completely free of toxic chemicals and damaging irritants. Anything that is grown and processed organically is done so without the use of harmful environmentally polluting petro-chemicals. Petro-chemicals are derived from petroleum. Common soothing organic natural skin care ingredients are lemongrass, peppermint, lavender, coconut oil, sandalwood, patchouli, and aloe vera. These natural botanicals are especially safe and healing; if they are grown free of synthetic petro-chemical pesticides.
